 Last sept my son and i were at the off road expo and picked up the only two scorpions around at the time.
At that time, no one had parts or hop ups yet and we had to make the parts we wanted like battery plates, 4 link plates which are now pretty standard stuff. Two months later just in time for christmas parts for the scorpion became available and I went nuts. I tried them all, and what's now on my truck was the only stuff I felt was worth the money and therefore worth keeping.
Some of the things I went through were Punisher Shafts (definitely not the last drive shaft you'll buy as claimed, XVD's claims are that they along with the Punisher Shafts are also bullet proof, rear 1 piece stainless steel axles, these bend easily and then your wheel wobbles unlike the stock ones that are more forgiving, and lastly the axial 101mm 30 degree bent links, I found these were to sharp of a bend and therefore bend on impact . |
