What a great time, our second annual scale build off brought out some amazing talent. This season the contest started November 08 and carried through until late October 09 giving the guys almost a full year to build these monsters, and some needed all of it. The viewers and voters were clearly impressed with the skills and creativity as we saw record numbers of new members and voters during the final month.
Congrats to this year’s trophy winners!

Introducing the CrossCanyon scale truck chassis by GCM Racing. This coil or droop suspension chassis was purpose built as an easy platform for Axial-crawler-based scale truck buildups. This black anodized aluminum rail chassis provides the right mounting holes all around to accept the stock Axial crawler motor mount skid plate and suspension links, and with just a bit of wrenching, you can convert an Axial crawler into a capable scaler.
CC CLUB: EDMONTON CRAWLERS
A little bit about our club The Edmonton Crawlers club began in the summer of 2008. Our small group ventured away from the nitros to see what the all the hype was about with these new radio control vehicles…rock crawlers. The experience was so much different than any other and we found that it was an enjoyable way to relax and just hang out with like-minded people. It all started in a garage with five guys, growing over time, we decided to create our club. People around Edmonton could have a place to go and great people to crawl with.
During the spring and summer, we head down to the river valley and use the trail trucks, during the winter we have an indoor facility for both trail trucks and crawlers. We have 5 unique "true" rock courses that range from easy to challenging. We are in the process of organizing competitive crawling events in this fun and family-oriented environment.
And if you ‘feel the need for speed’ during the winter months, located in the same facility, we now have a 1/18 scale electric on-road/off-road foam track racing.
Feel free to check out our Crawl Canada sub-forum here.
